There are three types of LOST viewers; those who love LOST, those who hate lost, and those who just don't care (because they like seeing Sawyer without his shirt on). Below are my prayers, to my fellow LOST watchers, haters, and those on the fence:
To those who love LOST: These are my people! This season we are finally going to get what we deserve. We have been a committed, loyal, and forgiving audience and it's finally our time to get closure (If you're listening that includes - polar bears, black smoke monster, island moving, Jacob, the guy who doesn't age with the dark eyebrows, Lock, Jacks dad and is Claire dead - I mean honestly?) and move onto the next weird show...AMEN.
To those who hate LOST: These are KL's people. I kinda don't blame for you hating LOST (I've been there). It's been a long, odd, ever-changing, drawn out series, that probably has made you mad over the years. It could be that you tried watching it a few times, and without enough of the back story nothing made sense, so you just gave up (FYI - sometimes even with the back story things are unclear), or maybe it's because you are just mad about Walt. Whatever the reason, you keep watching, and you keep hating, and that is a testament to how good the show is. Admit it - you want to know how things work out for Penny, who's side Ben is on, and if they blow up the island. You love it, you hate it, you love to hate it - the good news for you is this is the last season...AMEN.
To those who don't care about LOST: These are people who have been living under a rock. Even though I really do believe that you should watch LOST from the beginning to really enjoy the scope of what the show has accomplished, if ever you were going to start caring, now is totally the time. This season (god willing) is about answers, and closure, and if you really don't care, then jump on the band wagon to enjoy all the good stuff that you didn't have to work for...And yes, I do feel like I have worked for this...AMEN
Earlier in the year ABC has released its annual “everything you need to know about LOST” recap, so if you haven't seen it now is the time. For those still not sure if they want to drink the kool aid - what are you waiting for - spend the next 8 minutes and 15 seconds to get a taste, caught up, and excited about the final season, which starts tonight on ABC.
I am deep in the 'love LOST group' but KL resisted along the way, and many times wished to spend the hour differently, but since we only have one TV, he finally caved, and is actually excited for season 6 (but let's be honest, at this point he just wants answers - we all do).
