Urban Plant Tags (and be sure to read the actual tags - cause they are GREAT) are my newest obsession. I wish I could plop them throughout LA, so people could appreciate the creative wit first hand. Part art installation and part pure awesomeness, Carmichael Collective has hit it out of the park again. Other favorites by this fab company are the Pinata Anatomy and Bug Memorials :)

THE SEARCH: Painted Doors
My love for painted doors started many years ago when I took a trip to San Miguel de Allende (more here if you are not familiar with the amazingness). Everyone knows that a fresh coat of paint is the easiest and cheapest way to transform a space - but doors consistently get no love.
AND WHY NOT?
It's such an easy way to make a bold statement (on the inside or out) and it doesn't matter if you live high or low - it all looks fancy from the street :).

The Little Things
We spent the weekend catching up on some much needed family time and picking practically every dandelion in our neighborhood (HML is obsessed). Being together and enjoying the simple things reminds me how little is needed to create that perfect moment. Not a day goes by where I don't feel incredibly thankful for our sweet daughter and the light she has brought into our lives.
