For us, this week is major.  KL went away on business and our little family is apart for the first time (sigh) so naturally iChat has become our very best friend.  At first I was scared that HML wouldn't give KL the attention he may need while being away, but boy did she deliver.  She gave him THE BIGGEST SMILE, bounced around, and waved her arms up and down in excitement - they were totally communicating (and my heart melted).  A magnificent triumph for technology and another first for us!  Come home soon Dad, it's not the same without you - xoxo

WEBLOG: Inspire Me Now!

You may not have noticed, but I link to Inspire Me Now kinda often.  It's quirky, original, and regularly gives me a good laugh (I am always looking to increase laughter in my life).  What I like most (other than the smart content) is the simplicity, it's always just an image or two and the link (easy, breezy, beautiful, cover girl :).  Below is a collection of recent posts that I have enjoyed (as always, imagines link up to the original posts for easy browsing).  Thank you Szymon and keep up the great work!

Stern McCaffery

Totally loving this modern and playful invisible bath.  So unique in it's aquarium-like appearance, yet so simple.  The bath tub is created using a thick piece of clear glass which gives a see through effect by sandwiching itself between two tiles of wall and designed by Stern McCaffery architecture firm.

Facebook Hell

Where, oh where to begin...sigh :(

Two years ago (when Facebook/Typepad first introduced the facebook LIKE integration) I set up a My Right Brain fan account (fell in love with the idea) and continued on my way.  Over the years, I generated a solid following, but noticed more than a few inconsistencies.  I reached out to Typepad (they couldn't explain it), I researched like crazy online (found nothing) posted on Facebook forums (created a ticket, but never heard back) and then forgot about it - cause it worked, kinda. 

Most recently however, after Facebook did an overhaul to the LIKE/PAGES, things started going downhill fast.  Sadly, I had no choice but to delete my current Fan page and create a new one - which will be ready to go shortly.  Thank you for your support during this frustrating time and please re-LIKE when we are back up and running.  In the mean time, I am taking a chill pill as it relates to facebook (since we are no longer BFF's) but hope to accept his apology soon.
