I have a thing for ethnic prints (you already know I love Ikat, John Robshaw, Pouf's, Egyptian Floor Cushions, and everything Anne Becker) so it should come as no surprise that I have moved onto Suzani textiles (warning: please use them in moderation). Suzani is a type of embroidered and decorative tribal textile made in Tajikistan, Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan and other Central Asian countries. I have seen them everywhere in the last few years (I am sure you have also) but my neighbors have these AMAZING new prints hanging on their wall, and I am officially jealous of their finds - they have pushed me over the edge.
Suzani can be used in so many ways; bed spreads, pillows, couch covers, wall hangings - just search Suzani (plus whatever you are looking for) in google or ebay and you will find plenty of options. Personally, I want it on my bed or in pillow form, so below is a collection intended to sway KL of my new desire - humor me people. As always, the images open up to the actual store for easy access :)
