I have never been more happy for a year to end (and it's not to say that wonderful things didn't happen this year) it just feels like 2010 is going to be good in a lot of new and exciting ways, and I am ready to breathe the fresh air of what is yet to come. I have never looked at the start of a year with such hope, wonder, and excitement (are you really surprised that I am this cheesy). Bring it on people - the best is yet to come!
The pics below are from New Years Eve (gosh, I think it was about 5 years ago) when KL and I celebrated with my parents (yup, we actually celebrated New Years with BZ and JWZ) in Sea Ranch (which is beautiful especially in the winter). I had been away for work a lot that year, and really wanted to spend time with my parents, and sweet KL was kind enough to join me (although I am pretty sure that I had to talk him into it). My parents are going again this year (it has turned into somewhat of a new tradition for them) while KL and I are off doing our own thing. I wish I could be in more than one place at once this New Year's Eve, so many loved ones, so spread apart.
