I have been loving the images below for a while and decided it was time to share. They show off how great decorating with clothespins can be, and that it can still feel modern and not too crafty. It's a really easy, cheap, good looking, non-permanent, rotating 'art exhibit like' way to add some spice to a room, without having to really do too much. By hanging a ribbon or twine (you can layer them as seen below) and after securing it somehow into the wall (it doesn't matter how), you then just start adding things and it grows from there. It could be pictures, cards, artwork - anything - it could be all black and white images, or a series of matching images, or like the bottom picture below, large vintage alphabet cards hung perfectly in a baby's room. It adds nice layers and warmth and can always stay fresh as you put up new stuff and pull down the old. It is 100% what I want to do in our living room (which for 2 years has had a huge empty wall space cause we can't decide what to put there) - if only everything wasn't a negotiation - KL?
